🔍 Responsibilities
Report on rail, transport, and mobility news across Asia
Research and write original articles, features, and analysis
Interview policymakers, industry leaders, engineers, and innovators
Monitor press releases, policy updates, tenders, and transport plans
Ensure factual accuracy, journalistic integrity, and timely publishing
Collaborate with editors and pitch relevant story ideas
Attend events, site visits, or briefings (online or in-person)
✅ Requirements
Degree in Journalism, Communications or a related discipline
2+ years of writing or reporting experience (transport or infrastructure is a plus)
Strong command of English; other Asian languages a bonus
Solid research, interviewing, and storytelling skills
Understanding of transport, urban development, or government policy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
