Rail operator Rapid Rail said intensive repair works are underway to reinstate the affected power supply system and ensure a safe and stable return to normal operations.
In a statement, the operator confirmed that the incident was detected in the early hours of the morning, resulting in service interruptions along the line. Commuters have been advised to consider alternative rail routes where possible and to follow instructions from station personnel to facilitate orderly movement and maintain safety.
“Comprehensive repair works are required to ensure the system can resume operations safely and stably. Services are expected to be restored in stages within three days,” the statement said.
Throughout the disruption period, alternative train arrangements and complimentary shuttle bus services have been deployed to assist affected passengers.
Updates on service status will be provided periodically through Rapid KL’s official social media platforms and the MyRapid PULSE mobile application.
