The shipment departed from Jamrud Nilam Mirah Terminal and Teluk Lamong Port in Surabaya, both operated by PT Pelindo Multi Terminal. With this latest delivery, INKA has completed the shipment of 250 units, representing approximately 73.5% of the total 340 wagons ordered under the contract.
The full order comprises 290 units of 40-foot Container Flat Top Wagons and 50 units of 50-foot Container Flat Top Wagons. INKA previously delivered 130 wagons in March 2026. The remaining 90 units, consisting of 40 units of 40-foot wagons and 50 units of 50-foot wagons, are scheduled for delivery in November 2026.

“For us, every shipment is guided by the same principle: meeting the quality standards and specifications agreed upon with our customer,” said Nanang Agung Rohmandiyas, Senior Manager of Corporate Communications and Representative Office at PT INKA (Persero).
“We value the trust UGL has placed in our team, and we are committed to maintaining that trust through every delivery,” he added.
The current order marks the fourth Container Flat Top Wagon contract between INKA and UGL since the partnership began in 2021. To date, INKA has delivered 1,294 of the 1,504 wagons ordered by UGL across multiple contracts.
Beyond freight wagons, the collaboration also includes a separate order for 50 locomotive platforms for the Australian market, with deliveries scheduled to continue through 2027.
“Four orders since 2021 clearly demonstrate the strength of this relationship. UGL has once again shown its confidence in INKA by awarding new work,” said Nanang.
“Our immediate focus is to successfully complete the remaining deliveries in November 2026 while continuing to strengthen this partnership for the future.”
The ongoing cooperation highlights INKA’s growing presence in international rail markets and reinforces its position as a trusted supplier of freight rolling stock for Australia and New Zealand.
