SINGAPORE — OKP Holdings has secured a contract valued at approximately SGD87.3 million from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to deliver commuter infrastructure works along the Jurong Region Line (JRL).

The 60-month project began on Feb 27, 2026, and will be undertaken by OKP’s wholly owned subsidiary, Or Kim Peow Contractors. The contract award raises the group’s net construction order book to about SGD627.2 million, with projects scheduled to run through 2031.

Under the contract scope, the contractor will design and construct covered linkways to provide sheltered pedestrian connectivity near several JRL stations. The works will also include the development of cycling paths, shared paths and footpaths, alongside related road improvements aimed at strengthening last-mile connectivity around the rail corridor.

Additional components of the project involve reconstruction, modification and reinstatement of existing infrastructure within the work zones. These include retaining walls, drainage systems, roads, landscaping and turfing.

The project forms part of Singapore’s broader rail network expansion strategy, with the first phase of the Jurong Region Line expected to commence operations in mid-2028.
