The Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine has announced plans to repair more than 1,000 kilometers of railway tracks nationwide during 2026. This extensive maintenance work began with the onset of the spring-summer season.
The primary objectives of this large-scale repair effort are to guarantee safe train operations, mitigate the need for speed restrictions, and sustain stable capacity for both passenger and freight transportation services.
