Huawei Showcases Smart Transportation Innovation at MOT Digital Day 2025

Putrajaya, 16 October 2025 – The Ministry of Transport (MOT), through its Information Management Division (BPM), successfully organised the MOT Digital Day 2025, themed “AI & Cybersecurity: Driving Digital Transformation in Transportation.” The event, held at Dewan Sentral RAC, Ministry of Transport Malaysia, brought together government officers, industry leaders, and digital technology experts to explore the future of transportation in the age of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

A key highlight of the event was Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.’s presentation on “Huawei Smart Transportation Solution”, which showcased how intelligent digital infrastructure can reshape Malaysia’s transport ecosystem. The session focused on integrating advanced AI, cloud computing, and connectivity to create safer, more efficient, and sustainable mobility systems. Huawei’s approach underscored the importance of data-driven innovation and real-time connectivity in improving traffic management, public transport operations, and road safety.

MOT Digital Day 2025 serves as a strategic platform to strengthen digital awareness among ministry personnel and to highlight the role of emerging technologies in transforming Malaysia’s transportation landscape. Meanwhile, EC-Council presented “Cybersecurity for AI: Building Trust in the Era of Intelligence,” emphasizing the crucial need to safeguard digital ecosystems in an interconnected world.
