KUALA LUMPUR, October 2025 — Rapid KL has announced service disruptions on the Kelana Jaya LRT Line following a power supply failure at Gombak Station. The incident has caused delays along the route, with trains from Putra Heights required to turn back at Wangsa Maju Station.

To assist affected passengers, a feeder bus service has been activated between Wangsa Maju and Gombak stations. Passengers travelling towards Gombak are advised to tap out their card or token at Wangsa Maju Station before boarding the shuttle bus to either Taman Melati or Gombak Station.

Rapid KL also confirmed that the ticketing systems at several stations are temporarily out of service, including Gombak, Taman Melati, Wangsa Maju, Sri Rampai, Setia Wangsa, Jelatek, Datuk Keramat, and Damai. Commuters using these stations are encouraged to make fare payments at their destination stations instead.

As a safety precaution, trains will be stopping slightly longer at all platforms to ensure passenger safety throughout the affected sections of the line.

Rapid KL has apologised for the inconvenience caused by this disruption and expressed appreciation for passengers’ patience and understanding. The company has also advised commuters to stay tuned to its official channels for further updates on the restoration of normal services.
