Rail Service Gradually Resumes, Including Airport Express

HONG KONG, July 25, 2025 — MTR Corporation has announced the phased resumption of its railway services following earlier disruptions, with most lines now operating under modified schedules to restore normalcy to public transit.
According to MTR’s official service bulletin, several major rail lines, including the Airport Express, Tsuen Wan Line, Kwun Tong Line, Island Line, South Island Line, Tseung Kwan O Line, Tung Chung Line, and Tuen Ma Line, are now running trains at 10-minute intervals.

Services between Tiu Keng Leng and LOHAS Park are operating every 15 minutes, while the Disneyland Resort Line and the East Rail Line segment between Admiralty and Lok Ma Chau are running at 20-minute intervals.
The Light Rail network has also resumed service with trains arriving every 15 to 20 minutes. However, Routes 614 and 615 remain suspended until further notice.

MTR Corporation stated it works closely with relevant departments to monitor conditions and gradually increase frequency as operational safety and capacity allow. Before travelling, passengers are advised to check the latest updates via the MTR Mobile App or MTR’s official website.
