Typhoon Danas Disrupts Taiwan High-Speed Rail Schedule

Due to the approach of Typhoon Danas, Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp. (THSR) has adjusted its train schedule for Monday. All originally scheduled trains were cancelled and replaced with trains running hourly from Nangang Station in Taipei and Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung. These trains will be all-stop and offer non-reserved seating, except in business class cars.

To accommodate passengers in Taichung, two additional all-stop trains with non-reserved seating will be added at 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., one southbound and one northbound. The last trains are scheduled to depart Nangang Station at 9:40 p.m. for Zuoying and at 10:40 p.m. for Taichung. From Zuoying Station, the last trains will depart at 9:40 p.m. for Nangang and at 10:40 p.m. for Taichung. Passengers who cancel their trips can request a refund without a service charge, and those with cancelled trains may use their original tickets on any available non-reserved seating train.
